World First Smart BBQ Monitoring System

The era of technology is here with billions of devices being connected and controlled remotely and Greenplate’s® World First Smart BBQ Monitoring System is here to do just that.

Windemere Park – Revisit

A number of years ago Greenplate supplied a Double Matilda BBQ Bench to Windemere Park, Alexandra Hills for Redland City Council. Recently a member of the Greenplate team visited the BBQ to see how it was standing up to both  the regular use from the public and the environment. Both BBQ units have been operating trouble free with response from the public stating that these actually cook great compared to a lot of other BBQ’s they have used previously.

The Greenplate BBQ utilises a patented heating technology which allows the cooking plate to reach temperatures up to 400 Degrees Celsius, therefore ensuring the food is cooked in both a hygienic and tasty way. Lamb Lamb – BBQ Lamb – Yum!

With a long tradition of bringing people together, Lamb is the flavoursome meat that has been enjoyed by Aussies for generations – lamb has every occasion covered.


Bbq Lamb with Pumpkin CousCous
  • 2 150gms Raw Lamb Leg Steaks
  • 2 tbsp Masterfoods Lamb Herb Seasoning
Pumpkin CousCous
  • 1 Cup CousCous Cooked
  • 2 Medjool Dates Chopped
  • 2 mini Cucumbers diced
  • 1/3 cup Red Capsicum diced
  • 1/2 tin Chickpeas (400gm can) drained and rinsed
  • 200 gms Pumpkin steamed
  • 1/2 cup Parsley chopped
  • 1 Orange Juiced
Pumpkin CousCous
  1. Toss together all ingredients, add salt & pepper, squeeze the juice of 1 orange over the top, and sprinkle with fresh flat leaf parsley.

  1. Sprinkle seasoning over lamb and place on heated Greenplate Hotplate and cook to desired time

Naidoc Week

NAIDOC Week BBQ at Redlands City Hospital


Here at Greenplate we are always looking at ways to improve and provide assistance within our local community and are extremely happy to announce our sponsorship of the Naidoc Week BBQ. The event is taking place at Redland Hospital on Thursday 11th of July. Greenplate will be providing all of the food for the BBQ where members of the community can enjoy the NAIDOC Week Celebrations.

These celebrations are held right across the month of July. NAIDOC is not only celebrated by our indigenous people but by all Australians from all walks of life. NAIDOC originally stood for National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee and since then the acronym has been adopted for the name of the week.



Greenplate are delighted to have the opportunity to support the Redland City Hospital in its NAIDOC Week BBQ Celebrations.

BBQ’s Continuing to Pop Up Across Europe

Greenplate BBQ’s are continuously being installed across Europe with new locations added all the time. Pictured are a number of recent installations with the first being installed in the Czech Republic. An African style theme was used for the design of the BBQ bench to accommodate the locations mud hut buildings seen in the background.


Ullared Camp Site

The First BBQ was supplied to Ullared which is known as the largest shopping destination in Sweden or even all of Scandinavia. The BBQ is located near the RV Campsite to provide cooking facilities for dedicated shoppers who travel from various locations across Europe to experience what this famous shopping destination has to offer.

Linköping Sweden

The second BBQ was installed on a rooftop in a new apartment building located in Linköping Sweden using an all Stainless Steel bench construction to ensure the product will still be cooking quality food for years to come.

Greenplate are extremely excited to continue seeing our Australian invention providing a quality energy efficient cooking experience across the other side of the world.
