Iluka Foreshore WA, Joondalup

City Of Joondalup in Western Australia were looking to install new Barbecue’s in one of their very prominent coastal foreshore areas, Iluka.  Much consideration was given to the fact that the Barbecues would be subjected to harsh climatic coastal conditions and therefore would have to be made from quality materials that would stand up to the environment.  Apart from this aspect, Council’s selection criteria was very stringent to ensure that Council were receiving value for money, however not compromising on quality!

Greenplate® were chosen hands down as the successful Supplier owing to the low running costs of their 1.8KW Barbecues which use half the power consumption to that other 3.6KW Barbecues on the market.

Council were also very impressed with how safe Greenplate Barbecue’s through their Patented Technology of converting 240 volts to only 24 volts of power at the hotplate, which creates no chance of electrocution.  There were also a number of other features unique to Greenplate that impressed Council, suffice to say that City of Joondalup now have several Matilda Double Extended Top Barbecue’s installed for the public’s enjoyment at Iluka.  City of Joondalup have continued to purchase more Barbecues since the inception of the Iluka project and couldn’t be more pleased with their performance.

Warringah Aquatic Centre’s brief was to deliver a single Barbecue that was robust, easy to operate, and entirely made from stainless steel.  Low running costs were also a high priority as part of their criteria.

They certainly received all of this and much more when they purchased Greenplate’s Matilda Single Barbecue.  The area where the Barbecue is positioned has evoked a very tranquil setting that has given patrons the benefit of enjoying a Barbecue as part of the Aquatic Centres many attractions.

The full stainless steel finish has also blended very effectively into the environment. If feedback is anything to go by the Aquatic Centre is thrilled with their purchase and the cooking capabilities of the Greenplate® Barbecue!

Japan – Fujisawa Iwate

Greenplate® provided an energy efficient, safe barbecue which our Designer/Senior Technician implemented the electrical changes that were required to suit Japan’s power source.  This enabled Greenplate’s Barbecue to be plugged straight into their power point and turned on for ease of use, suffice to say that the Council were overjoyed with the Barbecue’s performance.

Coffs Coast Holiday Park

Coffs Coast Holiday Park commissioned Greenplate® to initially customise a stainless steel double Barbecue bench/cabinet to house the energy efficient Greenplate® inbench Barbecue units coupled with a sink and splashback.

Sean Hone, Operational Manager said “We were looking for an economical and reliable alternative to gas and other electrical units that used far more power”,  which Greenplate’s patented Inbench Unit was able to provide by using 50% LESS energy than comparable performing Barbecue’s on the market.  Combining this with the entire custom cabinet, benchtop and splashback made from stainless steel, ensured the entire cooking and preparation areas are hygienic and very easy to keep clean at all times.  Sean also said “The quality of product is second to none and we receive regular guest feedback regarding the ease of use and cooking capabilities of the Barbecues”.

Coffs Coast Holiday Parks have continued to purchase more of these customised Barbecues as well as purchasing inbench units to retrofit into existing cabinets.  Sean kindly said “I would have no hesitation in recommending Greenplate® Energy Efficient Barbecues to anyone looking for quality and reliability”.
