Project – Three Paddocks Park – Birkdale

Recently, Greenplate delivered a Matilda BBQ Unit to Three Paddocks Park at Birkdale.

Redland City Council has spent a significant amount of resources developing the park facilities by upgrading the amenities block, playground and BBQ area.

Greenplate were able to deliver the unit fully assembled to site allowing for a quick installation by The Landscape Construction Company. The Greenplate BBQ now offers Birkdale residents access to a hotplate that cooks your food instead of stewing it.

If you’re in the Birkdale area why not try out one of Greenplate and Anna Van Dyken’s Recipes on the new energy efficient BBQ….. we are sure you’ll love it.

Project – Revisit – Wynnum Foreshore – Elanor Park

Over 2 years ago Greenplate® supplied a number of Solar LED Street Lighting Systems to provide lighting for Elanora Park – Wynnum Foreshore. As winter closes in, the days seem to be getting shorter and shorter and unfortunately our working hours don’t follow. Therefore these lights are now allowing local residents and their furry friends to enjoy the facilities well after dark.

Greenplates Solar LED Street Lights are autonomous and turn on and off at specified times depending on the customers’ requirements, perfect for areas such as dog off leash parks.

Project – Springbrook National Park

Towards the end of last year Greenplate supplied and installed 2 x Greenplate® Double Equal Access BBQ units at Springbrook National Park. The National Park is always busy with large amounts of tourists and residents alike. Everyone enjoying the extensive bush walking trails and the Purling Brook Falls which is a UNESCO World Heritage Listed Rainforest.

The plan from National Parks Queensland was to provide true DDA cooking facilities for the park allowing people with visual impairment and physical disabilities to enjoy the facilities. This was achieved by installing two (2) Double Greenplate Equal Access BBQ Units which were installed and commissioned by the team. The BBQ units also had block work installed around 3 sides. This was to tie in with the surrounding parks original landscape design.

Greenplate were extremely proud to have its product showcased at such a prominent natural location in South East Queensland. We look forward to continuing to supply BBQ’s to more surrounding National Parks.

Project – Ascot Apartments

Greenplate were asked to manufacturer a customised retrofit solution for a block of apartments in Ascot Brisbane. The task was to replace the old gas BBQ unit with the Energy Efficient Greenplate BBQ and allow for positioning of the switch and tidying up of the old BBQ cut out.

Greenplate custom manufactured a stainless steel bench cut out to suit the existing hole allowing for the switch to be mounted in the front along with the signage.

The BBQ unit was installed onsite by Greenplate quickly and without hiccups. This was possible due to a site visit by a Greenplate representative prior to manufacturing the custom stainless steel work.

The Ascot Apartments will now enjoy the benefits of the Energy Efficient Greenplate BBQ Unit with temperatures exceeding that of the previous gas BBQ.

Project – Yea Riverside Caravan Park

Yea Riverside Caravan Park

… is located just off the Goulburn Valley Highway in the town of Yea Victoria.

The Caravan park boasts a range of accommodation options and facilities creating the perfect environment to enjoy and relax for any age group. Greenplate were extremely excited when Matt Williams the owner of Sustainable Park Solutions asked us to supply them with 2 x Solar LED Street Lights from our new range for the Caravan Park Project.

Greenplate manufactured the split system hinged light poles, out reach arms and accessories allowing for easier shipping and installation. The innovative design of the Street Lights incorporate the battery and solar controller inside the light fitting. This removes the need for obtrusive battery boxes either in the base or mounted at the top of the pole allowing for a slim and straight design.

Yea Riverside Caravan Park are always looking to increase their sustainability only choosing products to save energy where they can. This was already being achieved with the purchase last year of the Greenplate Solar Assisted BBQ Unit. This BBQ feeds excess energy produced from the Solar System back into the Grid.

Greenplate have had nothing but positive feedback since the installation of the Solar Street Lights and Solar Assisted BBQ. These new facilities will add further value for guests staying at the Caravan Park for years to come and will further enhance the environmental sustainability of the park.
