Everyone loves pancakes but most people think they can only be done at home – NOT TRUE.

What a perfect way to have brunch, lunch or dinner in the park on a Greenplate® Barbecue. Apple Pie Pancakes

Pancakes with sweet things - pancakes with bacon and eggs - pancakes with sausage - YUMMO!!

Servings: 2
Ingredients
  • 3 Tbls self raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup mashed cooked apple I used tin apples
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions
  1. Whisk all the ingredients together to make the pancakes

  2. Use approx 2 Tbls batter for each pancake

  3. Flip when bubbles just start to appear on top. 

  4. Don’t overcook them, they only need a minute on each side - and they cook SUPER QUICK

  5. Makes 6

How to get them to the park you might ask - Easy.

 

Make your recipe at home and pop the whole lot into a Tupperware pouring jug or a shaker - most people have those as home. (or even make it in the container itself - it is a shaker after all) 

 

Serve with plain no fat yoghurt, fruit and maple syrup of choice.

 

For the Healthy alternative to ice cream or cream why not whip together some

  • No fat yoghurt (YoPro or Chobani - or Aldi's Hi-Protein Yoghurt)
  • Sugar Free Maple Syrup
  • Sugar Free Drinking Chocolate

Tastes like heaven ... oh we mean Chocolate Mousse 🙂
