Redland City Council

Recently Redland City Council upgraded the park facilities located at the end of Raby Bay Blvd. A large open space that runs along the Raby Bay foreshore. Greenplate supplied two Single Equal Access BBQ units with extra preparation space.

These BBQ’s are located either side of a new shelter, upgraded play equipment and an all accessible toilet. The benches are disability certified to the current AS 1428 Design for Access & Mobility. The BBQ is also designed to provide access from all sides allowing for numerous peoples with disabilities to cook together at the same time. The benches are manufactured out of 2mm thick 316 Stainless Steel and protected by Greenplate’s lifetime structural warranty. Built specifically for coastal locations and high use public parks.

Greenplate Equal Access BBQ Benches were the first public BBQ bench on the market to allow members of the community with disabilities the opportunity to enjoy a BBQ in our parks.
