Greenplate’s Solar Electric Standalone Barbecue was chosen to feature in Australia By Design Innovation a television series that featured on Network 10.
The television show was created to showcase some of the best Australian Designs for the year chosen from winners of the Good Design Awards. Below is Greenplate’s Solar Electric Standalone Barbecue feature on Network 10.
Good Design Australia has announced a series partnership for a new national television show airing on Channel TEN. Australia by Design Innovation aims to bring good design into the hearts and minds of all Australians. Reminiscent of popular shows such as Beyond 2000 and The New Inventors, Australia by Design Innovation will feature eight different design innovations across six half-hour episodes, showcasing 40 of the best innovations and designs drawn from the national Good Design Awards. The best projects will go through to the final episode and will be showcased as the Top 10 Best Innovations of the Year.
Chosen for its highly innovative design and contribution to environmental sustainability, the Greenplate® Solar Barbecue has been selected along with high profile manufacturers such as Dyson and presented by Dr. Brandon Gien, CEO of Good Design Australia. Our very own Russell Kimmins and Alex Kimmins did a fine job presenting the numerous advantages of the great product and with great pride, we have ben featured on the final episode as one of the Top Ten Innovations of the Year.
