The lawns located at Robelle Domain Springfield Lakes feature several Greenplate® BBQs. These were installed for Ipswich City Council in 2018 and are a perfect example of Greenplate’s retrofitting capabilities. Old BBQs were removed and then replaced with energy efficient Greenplate® BBQ’s and retrofit access doors.
Since installation, the BBQs at this location had performed on average over 8000 cooking cycles. The BBQs also use 50% less power than those that were replaced, providing a significant energy saving over the life of the assets.
Greenplate have now retrofitted 11 BBQ’s in Robelle Domain alone. Providing an improved cooking experience for local residents.
