Project Overview
Watermark Resort is a premium holiday destination located on the stunning Golden Beach in Caloundra. With unparalleled views over the Caloundra beachfront and proximity to the Sunshine Coast’s best amenities, Watermark offers guests a relaxed coastal escape with resort-style comfort. The resort features inviting pool areas, landscaped outdoor spaces, and leisure facilities designed to maximise enjoyment of the beautiful Queensland climate.
As part of an upgrade to the resort’s outdoor entertainment precinct, Watermark Resort selected Greenplate to deliver a high-quality, durable and visually striking outdoor cooking solution that complements its premium beachside environment.
Scope of Work
Greenplate was engaged to supply and install a fully commercial grade outdoor BBQ facility built to elevate the resort’s alfresco dining experience. The project included:
- Supply & Installation of the Greenplate Matilda Cabinet
- 2 x high-performance BBQ Units
- Heavy-duty Hinged BBQ Covers
- Electrical Adjustments
- On-site adaptions to power outlets and connections to ensure correct BBQ functionality
- Structural Mounting
- Precision bolting of the BBQ cabinet into the tiled outdoor area
- Secure anchoring to meet safety standards and ensure long-term stability
- BBQ Hotplate Integration
- Fitting and commissioning of stainless-steel hotplates ready for use
All work was completed efficiently within a single day, minimising disruption to resort operations and guest activities.
